Summer Camp 2024- Coming Soon

Our 2024 Summer Camp program will be announced towards the end of March. For basic information, please look at information from last year's summer camp below.

If you would like to be added to the announcement email list please complete the link here

Overview

Our Summer Camp, for Preschool (3 years old) – 7th grade students, is a non-academic camp designed to give your child an opportunity to learn and explore in a nurturing environment.

The average child-adult ratio is 10 to 1. This allows for the students to benefit from a small group and gain more personal attention from our camp staff.

Your camper will have an opportunity to attend any/all the weeks within this four- week offering.

Give your child a summer filled with new friends and great memories!

Please contact Jazmin Chandler at jazmin@fassv.org with any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need to speak French?
-No, we do not require a certain language level for students to attend camp. Our camp staff will work with each child's language level within the classroom.

Is your camp an immersion program?
-No, FASSV offers a non-academic camp where students are exposed to both languages through fun activities and projects. Our camp is scheduled to have 2 ½ days of French exposure and 2 ½ days of English exposure.

How will students be placed into groups?
-Preschool and Pre-K students will be placed in groups where they interact with each other during certain activities and outside recess time. Elementary groups will be created based on the number of participants in summer camp. Parents will receive classroom assignments the weekend before camp starts.

Do you offer snack and lunch services?
-FASSV does not provide snacks for students during camp. We ask parents to pack 2 snacks, a morning and afternoon snack. FASSV partners with Taste Nutrition to provide lunch services for our campers. The link to register for lunch services will be provided prior to camp starting.

Will you have field trips?
-Yes, we are hoping to offer 1 field trip per week. The trips will be announced closer to June.
