Recognizing the benefits of exposure to a third language, FASSV offers Mandarin to our students beginning in Kindergarten. Students spend forty-five minutes a week with their Mandarin instructor to acquire a foundations level of language through stories, songs, role-play, repetition, vocabulary practice, and art projects. A highlight of this endeavor is a performance which students present during the Lunar New Year each year.
